Walter Koenig at Dragon*Con 2000
Walter Koenig is glad that the role of Bester has come along to rescue him from the stigma of playing Chekov on Star Trek. He considers Bester a favorite role and is glad to be recognized for it.

Walter is very disappointed that Crusade was cancelled because they were just weeks away from shooting Fiona Avery's Bester script. Walter had already memorized all the lines and was pleased because the ending left an opening for Bester to return.

Walter is developing two projects with Galaxy Online. The first is a 20-minute script that he originally wrote for The Twilight Zone. It will be directed by his son and released on the Internet. The second project is a full length feature film written by Koenig that Galaxy Online will produce and release to theatres.
